SCF is seeking Adjunct Faculty for the OTA Program. An adjunct instructional faculty member will be responsible for maintaining the highest academic standards in his/her particular discipline. The individual is expected to exercise professionalism and civility in all activities related to the role of academician, including those concerned with the various duties assigned, and any involvement with colleagues, peers, community and students.

Position Title Adjunct Faculty - OTA Program
Job Description

The OTA adjunct faculty are responsible for teaching in the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program which included providing instruction, supervision and evaluating student performance. Courses and topics will be determined by the Program Director based on program needs. Candidates must be a currently licensed Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant in Florida.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or an Associate degree as a Occupational Therapy Assistant. Must be licensed in the state of Florida.

Instructors must have current AHA Basic CPR for Healthcare Providers and Tuberculin Skin Test.

Preferred Qualifications

NBCOT Certification preferred.
Prior teaching experience.
